As many of us are spending more time at home, cleaning, sorting and organising is a popular way to keep busy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you\u2019re feeling ready to focus on your weight loss again after a few weeks of uncertainty, a tidy-up indoors and out could be just the thing to help clear your mind and get back into the swing of slimming. A vigorous clean counts as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/blog\/what-is-body-magic\/\">Body Magic<\/a>, raising your heart rate and getting your breathing faster, while a calming clear-out can work wonders for your mental wellbeing, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this \u2018spring-clean your way slimmer\u2019 special series, we\u2019ve got lots of ideas to help support your weight loss goals \u2013 and get your home looking spick and span \u2013 starting with some brilliant Body Magic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, gardening \u2013 they\u2019re all fantastic for keeping active at home. To make the housework feel more like a house party, listen to your favourite playlist as you go \u2013 music is an excellent move-more motivator, speeding up your heart rate <em>and<\/em> the housework. These back-to-basics Body Magic ideas will turn your home into a hive of activity: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Clean up with Body Magic<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vacuuming<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A vigorous vacuum throughout your home will definitely get your muscles working harder. And if you need to move some (not too heavy) furniture to get to those hard-to-reach nooks, that\u2019s all the better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cleaning the windows <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Giving your windows a good scrub inside and out is a great way to fit in some fitness. All that bending, squatting, stretching and scrubbing (not to mention walking to the sink to refill your bucket) will give you a whole-body workout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Making space <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Clearing the house and garden may mean you\u2019ve got some extra space to play with \u2013 perfect for trying out home exercise classes. You\u2019ll find lots of classes online, from beginners\u2019 yoga sessions to child-friendly PE lessons.
