{"id":4998,"date":"2022-01-01T16:40:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-01T16:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/slimmingworld.wpenginepowered.com\/blog\/?p=4998"},"modified":"2022-05-27T16:44:32","modified_gmt":"2022-05-27T15:44:32","slug":"discover-slimming-world-bake-off-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/blog\/discover-slimming-world-bake-off-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you ready to get your bake on?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you\u2019re planning to celebrate the Jubilee by putting on a slimming-friendly tea party, we\u2019d love for you to share your makes and bakes into our bake-off competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enter, share photos of your Free and low-Syn baked creations (they can be sweet or savoury) on social media using the #SWBakeOff hashtag and tag @slimmingworld between 29th May and 5th June 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our head office judges will channel their inner Paul and Prue in the week beginning 6th June 2022, when they\u2019ll shortlist 10 runners-up (who\u2019ll each win a copy of the <em>Slimming World\u2019s Sweet Dreams <\/em>recipe book) and pick our top five entries, who\u2019ll all receive a \u00a350\/\u20ac65 shopping voucher!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read on for the full terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Slimming World\u2019s bake-off competition terms and conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The competition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Slimming World is running a competition as part of the summer promotion. 15 members across the UK, Republic of Ireland and Cyprus will win a prize.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Five top winners will win a \u00a350\/\u20ac65 voucher and a copy of our recipe book \u2013 Slimming World\u2019s sweet dreams.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>10 runners up will win a copy of our recipe book \u2013 Slimming World\u2019s sweet dreams.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Winning entries will be chosen by the Slimming World social media team.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Further important details of how to enter, eligibility, the prize, and other information relating to the competition are dealt with below.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To be eligible to win the prize, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data for the purpose of the administration of this competition.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to enter<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To enter the competition, members must share a photo of their Slimming World-friendly bake on social media (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter), using the hashtag #SWBakeOff.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>&nbsp;The photo must be posted on social media between 29<sup>th<\/sup> May and 5<sup>th<\/sup> June 2022.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Any entries posted before or after these dates will not be entered.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The competition is open to all UK, Republic of Ireland and Cyprus Slimming World members (group and Slimming World Online) aged 18 or over.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. Slimming World may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition, including proof of age at the time of entry.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Slimming World reserves all rights to withdraw you from the competition if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the competition.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The prize<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The 15 winners selected by Slimming World\u2019s social media team, will each receive a copy of Slimming World\u2019s sweet dreams recipe book.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The top five winners will win a \u00a350\/\u20ac65 shopping voucher.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Slimming World reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The prize is not negotiable or transferable.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Winners\u2019 announcement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The winners will be sent a direct message on social media to let them know they have won a prize w\/c 6<sup>th<\/sup> June 2022.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The decision of Slimming World is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered in to.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Slimming World will send the name and county of the winners to anyone who writes within one month after the closing date of the competition requesting details of the winners and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Claiming the prize<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>If the winners cannot be contacted, are not available, do not accept these terms and conditions or are uncooperative with Slimming World in relation to the competition, or have not claimed their prize by 25<sup>th<\/sup> June 2022, Slimming World reserves the right to offer the prize to any eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received before the closing date or to treat the prize as forfeited.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Limitation of liability<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In so far as is permitted by law, Slimming World, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of Slimming World, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.
