Soft and fluffy, with sweet icing and sprinkles, we&#8217;ve made these sweet treats slimming-friendly \u2013 so you never have to miss out!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/what-can-i-eat\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"122\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/EatRealFood-SmallCTA_SlimmingWorldBlog2.jpg\" alt=\"eat real food - small CTA\" class=\"wp-image-11412\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Slimming World doughnut video<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/players.brightcove.net\/5245389806001\/default_default\/index.html?videoId=6375640533112\" allowfullscreen=\"\" allow=\"encrypted-media\" width=\"900\" height=\"390\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Slimming World doughnut recipe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To get the best possible shape, pick up a doughnut tin with 7cm holes (available online and in specialist cook shops \u2013 or see our tip) and use a piping bag \u2013 or at a push, just spoon the dough into the tin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>makes 10 doughnuts<br>5 Syns per doughnut&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>vegetarian<br>freezer-friendly (un-iced)<br>ready in 35 minutes, plus cooling and setting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>150g self-raising flour<br>\u00bc level tsp bicarbonate of soda<br>1 level tbsp caster sugar<br>125g fat-free natural Greek yogurt<br>1 medium egg, beaten<br>1 tsp vanilla extract<br>low-calorie cooking spray<br>7 level tbsp icing sugar<br>2 level tsp hundreds and thousands<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Preheat your oven to 220\u02daC\/fan 200\u02daC\/gas 6. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Mix the flour, bicarbonate of soda and caster sugar in a large bowl. Mix the yogurt, egg and vanilla in a jug and stir it into the flour mixture. Try not to overwork the mixture \u2013 just bring it together to a smooth, soft, slightly sticky dough (the bicarbonate of soda will begin to work and puff up the mixture). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Put a large disposable piping bag into a large glass or jug and open it up (this helps to hold the piping bag open). Spray the inside with low-calorie cooking spray. Spoon the dough into the piping bag and twist the end to close it, then lift the bag out of the glass or jug and snip off a 3cm hole at the pointy end. Spray a doughnut tin with low-calorie cooking spray and pipe 10 neat circles of dough into the holes. Lightly spray the tops and bake for 8-10 minutes \u2013 you don\u2019t need to turn them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Leave the doughnuts to cool slightly, then carefully turn them out and cool completely on a wire rack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. When the doughnuts are cool, mix the icing sugar with 1\u00bd-2 tsp cold water to make a smooth icing (feel free to add food colouring here, if you like). Drizzle the icing over the doughnuts, sprinkle with the hundreds and thousands and leave to set.&nbsp; These doughnuts taste best if you ice and eat them on the day they\u2019re made \u2013 so if you\u2019re not feeding a crowd, you can halve the amounts for a smaller batch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>No tin? Doughn\u2019t worry!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t have a doughnut tin, cut out a sheet of non-stick baking paper to fit a large baking tray. Draw 10 x 7cm circles on to the paper, turn it over and lay it in your baking tray. Using the circles as a guide, pipe doughnut rings on to the paper.<a> <\/a>Spray the doughnuts with low-calorie cooking spray, then smooth the surface and joins gently with your finger.
