And if you\u2019re not a fan, we think this flavour-packed dish might just change your mind&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing&#8217;s for sure, we definitely love pasta at Slimming World. It&#8217;s speedy, simple and it won\u2019t blow the shopping budget. Even better, pasta is a Free Food when you\u2019re Food Optimising, so you can eat enough to satisfy your appetite and say \u2018<em>pasta la vista!\u2019<\/em>&nbsp;to worries about it affecting your weight loss!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/nearest-group-search\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"122\" src=\"https:\/\/slimmingworld.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Group-CTA-Thin.jpg\" alt=\"Click here to find your nearest Slimming World group\" class=\"wp-image-7265\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Slimming World Marmite pasta recipe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>serves 4&nbsp;<br>Free&nbsp;<br>ready in 30 minutes &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tip: To make this dish vegetarian, leave out the chicken or swap it for 450g chunks of plain tofu and use vegetable stock instead of chicken. To cook the tofu, lightly spritz a non-stick frying pan with low-calorie cooking spray and fry the chunks for 2-3 minutes on each side, until slightly browned and crispy.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you need:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>low-calorie cooking spray &nbsp;<br>450g boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks &nbsp;<br>400g dried penne or other pasta shapes &nbsp;<br>200g sugar snap peas, sliced diagonally&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>200g broccoli, chopped into small florets &nbsp;<br>1\u00bd tsp Marmite yeast extract &nbsp;<br>200g plain quark &nbsp;<br>180ml hot chicken stock&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you do:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. First, cook the chicken. Preheat your grill to medium-hot, line a baking tray with foil and spray it with low-calorie cooking spray. Arrange the chicken in a single layer on the tray and grill, without turning, for 10-12 minutes, until cooked through. Cover loosely with foil to keep it warm. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Next, cook the pasta in boiling water for 7 minutes. Throw in the sugar snaps and broccoli and cook for 4 minutes more, or until the pasta and veg are tender but still have a bit of bite. Drain, then return to the pan. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. While the pasta\u2019s cooking, put the Marmite, quark, stock and a little salt and freshly ground black pepper in a large bowl. Mix well to make a thick sauce.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Add the sauce to the pasta and veg, tip in the chicken and stir until everything is well coated.
