If you\u2019d like to make your own Food Optimising version, this easy three-way recipe will hit the spot. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Slimming World granola recipe&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/berries-granola-body-blog-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8316\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>serves 10\u00a0<br>5.5 Swips per serving\u00a0<br>vegetarian (make it vegan by swapping the honey for maple syrup)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you need:<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>400g can chickpeas (see tip)&nbsp;<br>275g plain porridge oats&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>3 level tbsp honey &nbsp;<br>1 tsp vanilla extract&nbsp;<br>1 tsp cinnamon&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fruit &amp; nut version (7 Swips per serving)<\/strong>\u00a0<br>75g dried apricots \u00a0<br>25g flaked almonds \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Chocolate version (7 Swips per serving)<\/strong>\u00a0<br>2 level tbsp cocoa powder \u00a0<br>50g milk chocolate chips \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you do:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Preheat the oven to 160\u00b0C. Line a large roasting tray with baking paper and set aside.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Drain the chickpeas over a mixing bowl to reserve the liquid (aquafaba). Using an electric hand mixer, whisk until peaks form. (Keep the chickpeas to use in another recipe &#8211; maybe this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/recipes\/massaman-curry\">massaman curry<\/a> or a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.slimmingworld.co.uk\/recipes\/speedy-houmous\">speedy houmous<\/a>.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Put the oats, maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a large bowl and mix well. Add the aquafaba and stir until everything&#8217;s coated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Pour the mixture onto the roasting tray and spread it out evenly. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, giving it a stir halfway through. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely, then store in an airtight container (it\u2019ll last a couple of weeks).<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/slimmingworld.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/choc-granola-body-blog.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8318\" style=\"object-fit:cover;width:500px;height:500px\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>If making the chocolate version:&nbsp;<br>Leave out the cinnamon in step 3 and add the cocoa powder instead.
