I first joined Slimming World to support a friend who wasn't happy with her weight. It was odd going along at first, but I kept going as I was beginning to see results and I was making new friends too. In the first few weeks, I lost a stone and felt so much better about myself. My weight loss journey and experience was so positive (over 2st now and still going!) that I realised I wanted to support others too. It’s amazing what you can achieve when you begin to view foods in a more balanced way and start to really enjoy them without guilt, I mean who doesn’t love a pizza or the odd burger? Slimming World helped me re-evaluate my relationship with foods and see them in a more positive and guilt-free way, and I'd love to help you too.
