I joined Slimming World in October 2016 as an overweight and unhappy person. I know exactly how members feel when they walk through the door and just how hard it is to find the courage to do so. I was thrilled when I got an award in my first week. I fell in love with Food Optimising, realising just how much you could eat and still manage to lose weight. There are so many normal meals that you don't actually feel like you are eating to lose weight. Both my husband and my children really enjoyed the meals. I love the buzz and support you get by staying to Group and all of the great ideas to help you to stay on plan.
