I joined Slimming World back in 2013 at 3 months pregnant after being advised by my local midwife that I was high risk of gestational diabetes due to my BMI. From this point on, Slimming World completely changed mine and my family’s lives. I learned about healthy eating, changing habits, making better choices - while still enjoying the odd treat! During this pregnancy I gained a very healthy 2lbs in weight and a beautiful healthy baby - and since then I’ve gone on to lose 5 stone. In 2017 I decided I wanted to spread the word and help others, who perhaps like myself, have had an unhealthy relationship with food.
