Before I walked through those Slimming World doors for the first time, I was scared. But my weight had been creeping up and I knew I needed help. Thankfully, the group was so friendly and supportive, as everyone was there for the same reason – to lose weight. The Food Optimising plan really suited me as I love eating! I found it amazing that I could enjoy proper food (even chocolate) with family and friends and still lose weight. I lost 2st to reach my target in 2010, and went from struggling with my knee when walking up stairs to trekking mountains for charity! If I can do this, I know you can too. Slimming World groups update
As guidance eases, many Consultants have reopened their community groups, running smaller, shorter, Covid-safe sessions. For now, some Consultants are still running 'Virtual groups' or our temporary 'Venue + Virtual' service (where you get weighed at the venue, and then take part in an online support group).
Once you've found your local group, please contact the Consultant to find out more and to book your place. However your group’s running, you’ll discover tons of support to help you achieve the weight loss you’d love.
