Baked cod steaks with lime
Packed full of flavour, this delicious cod dish is guaranteed to be a firm family favourite. Serve with lots of veggies
- 4 x 150g cod steaks
- 6 tbsp lime juice
- 2 level tbsp chopped parsley
- 4 heaped tbsp chopped onion
- ¼ level tsp ground ginger
- ¼ level tsp cayenne pepper
- Lime slices, to serve
Place the cod steaks in a shallow baking dish.
Mix together all the other ingredients, pour over the fish and leave to marinade for at least 2 hours.
Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas 4. Bake the fish for 20-25 minutes.
Serve with the juices poured over, accompanied by a selection of free vegetables and the lime slices for squeezing over the fish.
