The new LifelineOnline website and app are here… and we’re so excited for you to start using them! We’ve updated our weight loss tools, added lots more tasty recipes and made searching for, favouriting and tracking your best-loved foods a breeze.
If you have questions about moving to the new website, downloading the app or finding your way around, this page is here to help.
When you get the go-ahead from your Consultant, log into the current LifelineOnline website as normal and follow the instructions on the screen. Moving is really simple and all your personal information, favourites and weight loss history will be kept safe and secure. Raring to get started? Here’s how it’ll work…
More information about moving
As you can imagine, helping hundreds of thousands of members move from one site to another is no mean feat, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you all. We’ll be moving everyone area by area, and your Consultant will let you know when it’s your turn. Our plan is to get everyone moved across by the end of June, so you won’t have too much longer to wait.
Everything should be moved over within just a few minutes – although it could take up to 10 minutes at busy times.
While it’s possible to download the new Slimming World app (red icon) and create a profile before you’ve been moved – we wouldn’t recommend it! The new app will only work fully for members who are all set up on the new website. Creating a profile beforehand means that your old and new profiles won’t be linked and you’ll lose all your weight loss history and favourites. We’re sorry for the confusion, but please stick with the current app (white icon) for a little while longer.
To help you get to know and love your new website, we’ve shared the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. Plus, now you’re all set up on the site, you’ll have access to the new and improved Slimming World app.
More information about exploring
If you can’t log in to your account, please select the ‘I’ve forgotten my password’ link on the login page. You’ll be asked to submit your email address so we can email you a link to reset your password. Please note that this will only work if you have verified your account with us.
How to verify your account
We sent you an email with the subject line: ‘Please verify your email address’. Depending on your email settings, it might have landed in your spam, junk, trash, deleted items, or archive folder – so do check there, just in case.
Open the email and click the link to verify your account with us. Please note that the link is only valid for 48 hours from when it was sent. If you’d like to request a new one, get in touch and select ‘group migration’ from the drop-down menu.
You can easily change your start weight if it’s your first week and you haven’t weighed in yet. To do this on the website, click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the page and head to My Progress. Click on the pencil icon to amend your start weight. On the Slimming World app, click on your profile image in the top left-hand corner of the home screen and select the pencil icon to edit your start weight.
If you have already weighed in and your start weight is incorrect, you’ll need to restart your progress to correct your start weight. Don’t worry if you’ve entered any other weights – these will clear when you restart, but you can add them back in on the progress chart page. To restart your progress, go to your username in the top right-hand corner of the page, click on Settings, head to Restart My Progress and follow the on-screen instructions.
Yes, because your weight entries on LifelineOnline are manual and not linked to your Consultant’s scales, it’s easy to add in, amend or delete any past entries. Log in to your LifelineOnline account on the website, click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the page, select My Profile and click on the red button that says Update Weigh-ins. We’ve made it simple to toggle back to previous months and years by using the arrows. If you’d like to restart your progress altogether, go to your username, click on Settings, head to Restart My Progress and follow the on-screen instructions.
Our new and improved Food Search is where you can find out if a product is a Free Food or a Healthy Extra, or has a Syn value. On the website, you can access the Food Search from the main menu (three horizontal lines). Using the white search box, type in the item you’re looking for and click the magnifying glass symbol to search. If you’re using the Slimming World app, you’ll find the Food Search on the home screen. You can then use the white box at the top to search.
When we launched the new website and app, we also changed the name of the Syns Calculator. The tool you know and love is now called the Syns Estimator. To access it, head to the Food Search, and search for your item. Once you have searched and all the results are showing, if you scroll down (quite a way down!), the Syns Estimator will appear. It works in the same way as before: you’ll need to add the product’s nutritional information and any Free Food allowance. Once you’ve entered that information, you’ll see the estimated Syn value.
