Salads with a difference

As the weather warms up, salads are a great option for lunch or dinner. There’s no need to keep to the standard lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes, though – our Slimming World-style salads are tasty, tempting and packed with a variety of satisfying Free Food.

With so many ingredients to choose from, making scrumptious salads is super easy. 

  • Using roasted vegetables can totally transform the taste. Marinate red and yellow peppers, courgette and red onion in balsamic vinegar and garlic, then grill to create a loaded salad with tons of flavour!
  • Have you ever tried fruit in a salad? Fresh melon, strawberries, apples, peaches, figs and citrus fruits paired with crunchy vegetables are a match made in salad heaven.
  • Add pizzazz to your dish with more unusual salad ingredients like broccoli spears, broad beans, asparagus tips or parsnip shavings.
