Pinch of Nom statement -11/07/2019

We have been communicating with Kay and Kate, the founders of Pinch of Nom, for some time about use of our trademarks and other Intellectual property across their digital channels. In particular, we are concerned about the description of recipes and eating plans as ‘Slimming World’ recipes and plans when in fact they aren’t created by Slimming World. We are also concerned about their attribution of Syn values to recipes and products without verification by Slimming World. This is causing confusion among our members and we need to protect trust and confidence in our brand.

We’re grateful to Kay and Kate for their decision to remove our trademarks from their channels. We have no wish to prevent anyone from fairly developing, promoting or sharing recipes that support people to lose weight successfully and we wish Pinch of Nom every success with their business in the future.
