I have ME/CFS/fibromyalgia. Do you have any advice?

We’re aware that these conditions can cause pain, chronic fatigue and muscle stiffness, which can make physical activity difficult. We do encourage members to think about ways they can increase their activity levels but exercise is not essential for successful weight loss. If it is comfortable to do so, then we do have a unique exercise support system, Body Magic, to help members find their own personal and enjoyable way of increasing their activity levels. It’s based on time committed to activity, both structured exercise and activity in daily lives, so any activity that you are able to do will count towards the Body Magic programme and awards system. If however, you aren’t currently able to do any physical activity you should still be able to lose weight successfully by following Food Optimising. As with all medical conditions, we recommend that you consult your GP and always follow any treatment suggested by your healthcare team.
