What qualifications do I need?
You don’t need any formal qualifications to apply. If the role is right for you, you’ll receive all the training and support you need to succeed, delivered by our expert team at our state-of-the-art Slimming World Academy with other trainee Consultants from around the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Do I need to be a Slimming World member to apply?
Yes. If you’re a current Slimming World member, or have been a member in the past, we’d love to hear from you. As a member, you’ll bring the added experience of having lost weight with us – whether you’re close to or at your target. You’ll have fallen in love with Food Optimising, our healthy way of eating. You’ll have been motivated to get more active through our activity programme, Body Magic. Above all, you’ll be passionate about sharing with others the inspiration, care and empowering support you discovered in your Slimming World group.

What personal qualities do I need?
We look for people with a positive outlook, who genuinely care about the health and happiness of others. Whether you’re confident and outgoing or more reserved, as a Consultant, you’ll be kind, warm, non-judgmental –sometimes firm, and often funny – as you offer support and encouragement to your group.
Anna Mangan is celebrating 10 years as a Slimming World Consultant. She says:
