What you need:
For the filling:
400g eating apples, peeled, cored and cut into 3cm chunks
2 level tbsp sweetener granules
150g fresh or frozen blackberries
Top tip: The filling can be frozen at the end of step 2. Defrost when you’re ready to cook, heat through on the hob with an extra splash of water, then transfer to a baking dish and continue from step 3.
For the crumble:
75g low-sugar granola
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
What you do:
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6.
2. Mix together the apples and sweetener in a non-stick saucepan with 100ml water. Cover and cook over a medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the blackberries, then transfer everything to a baking dish.
3. To make the crumble topping, mix together the granola and cinnamon, then spoon it over the top of the fruit mixture. Bake for 25 minutes, covering with foil after 15 minutes, until the juice is bubbling. Leave to stand for 5 minutes, then divide between 6 plates or bowls and serve each with a dollop of fromage frais.
