If you’re looking for a simple Slimming World pasta bake for tonight’s dinner, we’ve got an easy – and really cheesy – recipe that you can whip up in just 30 minutes using a few store-cupboard staples. And it makes enough to feed a family of four – or you could freeze the leftovers for those too-busy days when there’s just no time to cook. How’s that for pasta perfection?
Slimming World pasta bake
3 Syns per serving
ready in 30 mins
What you need:
350g dried fusilli pasta
1 small leek, thinly sliced
100g frozen spinach
100g frozen sweetcorn
250g plain quark
175g fat-free natural fromage frais
400g canned tuna chunks in spring water, drained
75g reduced-fat Cheddar, grated
What you do:
1. Preheat your grill to high. Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions adding the leek, spinach and sweetcorn to the pan 4 minutes before the end of the cooking time, making sure the water comes back to the boil quickly. Drain the pasta and vegetables and return to the pan.
2. Mix the quark, fromage frais and tuna chunks into the pasta with half of the Cheddar and season to taste.
3. Spoon the pasta into a large ovenproof dish and sprinkle over the remaining Cheddar. Grill for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and browning.
4. Serve with a mixed leaf salad or your favourite Speed vegetables.
