It’s officially soup season! When the weather starts to cool, it’s time to turn to cosy comfort food – and nothing says ‘snuggle up’ better than a steaming bowl of soup.

Luckily, we’ve got four perfectly-timed additions to the Slimming World food range. Our Slimming World food range (available at Iceland) was created for those days when there’s just no time to cook, and these new Soup Bowls make a lovely lunch or light meal. Our head of food and publications, Allison Brentnall, tells us more…

Slimming World soups have always been a popular part of our food range, and the start of autumn felt like the ideal time to stir things up a bit! We were keen to add some classic flavour combinations that we know our members love, and we also gave the packaging a makeover, creating the new ‘Soup Bowls’.

Like our tasty Lunch Bowls, the new Soup Bowls make a quick and easy lunch when you don’t have much time to cook – whether you want something healthy and handy to take to work or fancy something speedy and simple at home.

My personal favourite is the pea and ham. I’ve always loved Slimming World’s pea and mint soup, and this is the same recipe, with the addition of some delicious shredded ham. I’m also really pleased that we have two mouth-watering vegetarian options in the Soup Bowls range, to ensure as many members as possible can enjoy them.

As always, we’ve included the recipes for the soups on the packaging, to give you the option of making them from home when you have more time. You’ll also find links to all of the soup recipes in this post.

I really hope you enjoy warming up with our new Slimming World soups!
