Noreen loves: Cook-along curry

Slimming World chef Sal saw us through lockdown with a series of store-cupboard cook-along videos. Noreen joined in and loved this healthy chicken curry, saying:

“I had a red pepper to use up in the fridge, so I added that too. To make my celeriac chips, simply parboil celeriac (peeled and chopped) for five minutes, spray with low-calorie cooking spray, sprinkle with curry powder or smoked paprika and cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes.”

Brenda loves: Crispy chilli beef

It seems that lots of you fancied a fakeaway when you spotted our crispy chilli beef recipe. Brenda lost 3st in nine months on the Slimming World plan. She loves cooking from scratch and gave this recipe a big thumbs up, saying:

“Thank you for this recipe. It’s very nice – the portion serving is rather large! Before Slimming World, whenever life became challenging, I gained weight. No journey is totally without its ups and downs, however, I now have the knowledge and support to never let it get out of control.”

If you find yourself with leftovers, this recipe makes a lovely lunch the following day!
