My Slimming World journey started in January 2014. I had been diagnosed with severe endometriosis, which was preventing me from getting pregnant again. I needed surgery, but the hospital wouldn't operate until I had started to lose weight. I went on to lose 5½st, had my surgery and now have two gorgeous boys. Slimming World changed my life and gave me the family I was so desperate for. I totally understand what it feels like to need to lose weight and also how hard it can be. My group is a lovely, welcoming place, and always full of laughter and support. We are like a family and new members are welcomed with open arms.
