I joined Slimming World in 1995, never dreaming how that simple step could change my life. My Consultant was friendly and never judgmental, even on those weeks when I totally lost the plot. The other members were so supportive and when I did well I felt they were genuine in wanting me to succeed. I lost 4 stones in a year and became a Consultant, and I try to make sure all my members get the same support I had all those years ago - whether it's half a stone or 15 stone they want to lose.
