At 18 stone, I felt stuck—constantly turning to food for comfort and battling self-doubt. Then I found Slimming World. With the support of my group, I started making small changes that added up to something huge. I lost 5 stone, hit my target, and finally felt in control of my life again. Slimming World didn’t just help me lose weight—it completely changed my life. It even brought me to my husband, who understood every step of the journey. Life got busy, and a bit of weight crept back on—but that’s okay. Slimming World taught us that it’s never about perfection, it’s about getting back up.
