Hello, I was an older Mum who put on 1 stone every year for 6 years. I did the Great North Run in 2014 after losing my auntie to Aplastic anaemia. After the run I realised if I did not lose weight I would not be around long enough to see my daughter grow up. I decided to run the Great North Run again the following year but knew I could not do it the size I was. This is where my Slimming World Journey started. I joined with a friend as I would not go on my own and I have never looked back. I am now 7.5 stone lighter and loving life! Come to my group to meet a lovely bunch of people with fantastic losses. x
Slimming World groups update
As guidance eases, many Consultants have reopened their community groups, running smaller, shorter, Covid-safe sessions. For now, some Consultants are still running 'Virtual groups' or our temporary 'Venue + Virtual' service (where you get weighed at the venue, and then take part in an online support group).
Once you've found your local group, please contact the Consultant to find out more and to book your place. However your group’s running, you’ll discover tons of support to help you achieve the weight loss you’d love.
