I joined Slimming World in 2016. I felt my weight was stopping me from being the active, energetic mum I had always wanted to be. I also found I was feeling jealous of other people who were slim and leading healthier lives. From that first group I was so relieved to hear I could eat loads of the foods that I enjoyed. Every other weight loss attempt had left me hungry and miserable so I inevitably gave up. Slimming World's healthy eating plan was totally different and I embraced everything Slimming World had to offer. I lost 7 stone within a year! I have maintained that loss for 9 years now. I run award winning groups and was named National Top Target Consultant 2024. I love helping my local community lead healthier, happier lives.
