Iʼve tried so many diets over the years. Some worked in the short term – some didnʼt – but, tired of yo-yo dieting and of feeling deprived and hungry, Iʼd soon go back to my old ways of eating. Then, around four years ago, I sceptically walked into my local Slimming World group. I didn't feel particularly motivated and was prepared for failure. Instantly, though, I found a friendly place and I was welcomed with open arms by my lovely Consultant. The group was warm and friendly and, as we swapped tips and recipes, I knew that this time it was going to work. Slimming World groups update
As guidance eases, many Consultants have reopened their community groups, running smaller, shorter, Covid-safe sessions. For now, some Consultants are still running 'Virtual groups' or our temporary 'Venue + Virtual' service (where you get weighed at the venue, and then take part in an online support group).
Once you've found your local group, please contact the Consultant to find out more and to book your place. However your group’s running, you’ll discover tons of support to help you achieve the weight loss you’d love.
