I originally joined Slimming World due to health reasons, joining on a 12 week referral. I am type 2 diabetic. I lost over three stone with Slimming World, which enabled me to live a more healthy lifestyle. I then applied to be a Consultant and opened a Saturday morning group, which I ran successfully, often gaining Group of the Month awards. I alos became a Silver award winning Consultant. I then took a break from being a Consultant due to family reasons, but I am now back and opening a Saturday morning group again. I still attend group and am happy that I have been able to keep my weight loss, through Food Optimising and eating healthily. I look forward to being able to help existing and new members on their journey!
