Terrie at Ryhope Community Centre

I joined Slimming World at a time when I felt alone and lost. I'd tried every diet going and nothing ever seemed to stick. Walking through those doors was a huge step. But it changed my life. I didn't have to make separate meals for my family. And I went on to lose nine stone - and reach my dream target. Slimming World changed my life, gave me back my confidence and happiness. What I love most about my role is seeing the same transformation in others. Watching members grow in confidence and realise what they can achieve is so very special. Our group is so welcoming, supportive, and full of warmth - just friends you haven't met yet. You can expect to learn, laugh and have fun together. I feel very proud to have such wonderful groups.
