I joined Slimming World in January 2007 after my GP told me I'd never lose weight, it was probably one of the worst moments of my life and I felt like a total failure! The day I joined Slimming World was scary. I may be a grown woman, but I felt like I’d be the biggest person there and that everyone would stare at my size, however I was delighted to be greeted at the door by my Consultant and within seconds felt part of the big Slimming World family. For the first time in my life I felt that perhaps I could succeed - and I have! I believe 100% in Food Optimising, it’s not only helped me; but all my family became healthier, fitter and happier. I love my job as a Consultant and helping support members to success!
