I joined Slimming World in April 2010. I was overweight, my mobility was bad due to a hip problem, the doctors constantly blamed by weight for my health problems - but most of all I was unhappy. A friend recommended Slimming World and I was welcomed with open arms, the group was buzzing with excitement and immediately I was put at ease. Food Optimising is brilliant. I could fill myself up on Free and Speed foods, enjoying unlimited lean meat, rice and potatoes – my favourite! The following year I reached my target weight and decided to become a Consultant. I’d love to welcome you to one my groups where I will help you every step of the way to achieve your personal achievement target.
Slimming World groups update
As guidance eases, many Consultants have reopened their community groups, running smaller, shorter, Covid-safe sessions. For now, some Consultants are still running 'Virtual groups' or our temporary 'Venue + Virtual' service (where you get weighed at the venue, and then take part in an online support group).
Once you've found your local group, please contact the Consultant to find out more and to book your place. However your group’s running, you’ll discover tons of support to help you achieve the weight loss you’d love.
