My Slimming World journey: From Size 18 to Consultant by Suzanne On January 4th, 2016, I made a decision that would change my life forever. I joined Slimming World. At 13 stone 8 pounds and wearing a size 18 (and creeping toward a 20), I was ready for a change. As someone who had never dieted before, I remember walking into that first group, thinking, "I really don't think I’ll lose weight." But in that first week, I shed 3 lbs. That small victory sparked a fire, and to my amazement, I went on to lose weight every single week for 20 weeks straight. After seven months of dedication, I reached my target! When I got to target, I just couldn't believe I'd achieved it. The sense of pride and disbelief was overwhelming.
