I joined Slimming World after being on holiday at a theme park with family, I had to be removed from a roller coaster because I was too big to fit, I never felt so embarrassed and ashamed. I was nervous about going through the doors at my group on the first night but that was short-lived - I was greeted by my Consultant and a room full of friendly faces, the support and encouragement I received along my journey was so amazing, in addition to learning about the freedom of Food Optimising, I never went hungry, it changed my life. After a 9 stone loss I've never looked back or felt better, In fact it inspired me to become a Consultant and start my own group where you will always find a warm welcome, help and support and of course a bit of fun.
