It's National Gardening Week (30 April – 6 May) and we've got some great news for our green-fingered gardeners. 

Research has revealed that three hours of gardening can have the same fitness benefits as an intense hour-long gym session. So as well as your garden looking great in time for summer, your body will feel the amazing health benefits, too!

Whether they’re jobs you love or dread, tasks such as weeding, digging your veggie patch and mowing the lawn become a lot more rewarding when you know they’re contributing to your Body Magic success.

The great thing about Body Magic – our unique activity programme – is that it’s not about spending hours sweating in the gym (unless you want to!), but building physical activity into your daily life through activities like gardening, walking, cycling, swimming or washing the car.
